The Tramping Boot

The Tramping boot is a part of Tricker’s Heritage; made traditionally for pursuits in the British countryside. . It’s based on a boot design from 1926. The English aristocracy and titled landowners bought Tricker's for weekend use and normally wore a classic black derby or with us it tended to be an Oxford - with our closed lacing system with hidden eyelets - shoe in the Town (London mainly) where they had another house and business.

Tricker's were the first choice for the country where they kept your feet dry whilst hunting, walking (called Tramping) and working in the land. The Tramping boot is a part of Tricker’s Heritage; made traditionally for pursuits in the British countryside. It is essentially a boot within a boot, made with double vamp and counters, whole cut, perfectly smooth with a seamless inside. The upper is stitched in 80’s thread and a 12’s needle for a more refined finish.
