# Tricker's (R.E. Tricker Ltd)
 
> R.E. Tricker Ltd is Britain's oldest established shoemaker, founded in 1829 in Northampton, England. Every shoe and boot is handmade from start to finish at the Northampton factory using Goodyear welt construction - the same methods refined since 1829. Tricker's holds a Royal Warrant of Appointment from H.M. King Charles III and is recognised for their brogue shoes and boots.
 
Tricker's produces men's and women's footwear - country boots, city shoes, Derby shoes, dealer boots, and other styles - alongside shoe care products and a full repair and resoling service. All manufacturing takes place at the Grade II listed factory at 56–60 St Michael's Road, Northampton, which has been in operation since 1904. Footwear is sold via trickers.com, their flagship store at 67 Jermyn Street, London, and a store in Aoyama, Tokyo.

All Tricker's footwear is Goodyear welted, handmade in Northampton through over 260 individual production steps, with full-grain leather linings, cork-filled insoles, and wooden shanks as standard.
