Double Leather Soles

Double leather soles are stiffer, wear much longer with more visual weight.

Footwear with this sole literally have an extra layer of leather providing greater durability and comfort across rough surfaces.

The double sole will provide more structure and protection needed in Tricker’s country, tramping, hunting, or walking boots and shoes.

Commando Soles

Our original country boot sole and the choice of adventurers and military throughout history. These full rubber soles take a bit of breaking in, but they provide excellent durability and grip across all terrain - particularly in the countryside.

Tricker's commando sole’s are supplied by ITSHIDE, a Northamptonshire based producer with over 150 years of experience producing high quality raw materials for the boot and shoe trade.

Single Leather Soles

Single leather soles are lighter, have a slimmer silhouette and are more flexible. These soles are sleek, elegant and are the best choice for classic dress shoes. They are oil infused for enhanced flexibility and added protection.

Dainite Soles

First designed in 1910, this is a rubber sole with large studs that provide grip - whilst not so traditional, they do provide good all-round grip and durability for most surfaces. Dainite products have been produced since 1894 in Market Harborough, England, near Northampton.

The Dainite studded sole is one of the most widely known and used products, with its original design as valid today as it was in 1910. It provides grip and comfort in all conditions while not attracting or storing dirt as there are no cleats or heavy grooves to hold it.

Ultra Flex Leather Sole

Tricker’s Ultra-flex shoes have been designed with unlined uppers combined with our unique single Ultra-flex leather soles to provide flexible, slipper-like comfort without any compromise on quality or durability. It is hard wearing and offers ultimate levels of comfort.

Vibram Vi-Lite Sole

Vibram's Vi-Lite sole have the look of a rugged commando sole but are light with excellent absorption.

These soles are moulded rubber soles that are light in weight and offer excellent comfort, enhanced mobility and shock absorption.

Ridgeway Soles

The Ridgeway sole originated with the idea of a gentleman being able to utilise his most comfortable brogues on the golf course.

A hard-wearing rubber sole characterised by protruding lugs and large ridge channels that offer great traction and stability. Ridgeway soles are more lightweight than commando soles but are thicker than Dainite boot soles and have a slightly raised profile.

These are an excellent all-purpose sole that performs well in nearly every condition.

Complete Bespoke

Tricker’s bespoke shoes and boots have walked to all four corners of the Earth. In 1953, they even took Sir Edmund Hillary and Sherpa Tensing to the very top of the world.

Whilst bespoke is often thought of as a luxury, we also create footwear for those who simply cannot wear a conventional fit.
