Leather Care Guide
Repello Suede
- First, insert your shoetrees and brush your shoes to remove any dirt or dust. It is important to brush suede with care and always in the same direction. We recommend a suede brush with brass bristles if you have any stubborn dirt. Ideally brushes both with hair bristles and brass.
- Once your shoes are brushed, you should have puffed your suede and have restored its finish. If you’d like to enhance the suede’s finish and colour, we would recommend the suede restoring spray. Simply mist your shoes 30 cm away and leave to try.
- Try to keep your suede footwear as clean as possible as even with ‘ Scotch Guard ‘ some staining may
occur. - If you do experience this sort of problem through wet or dirt, always let your footwear dry
naturally before trying to use any repair restoring spray.
A range of high quality, fine-napped calf suede, tanned to give a full generous handle and rich appearance. Repello is a quality suede, recommended for casual shoes. It is usually selected for shoes with a lot of use since it is more durable. In this case, the hide is split and dyed to create a velvety effect on the nap side of the leather. During the tanning process ‘Scotch Guard ‘ is used to give a high degree of resistance to any staining.
This is a Chrome leather.
