Even better than expected
"The Kilsby in Visone Repello Suede is even better than I expected. The quality of the suede is exceptional, and the craftsmanship is flawless. Like every Tricker’s I own, it’s built to last a lifetime."
The Kilsby is defined by its stitched apron design and heavy-set derby quarters. Built on the legendary 4497s last—traditionally reserved for our iconic country boots—it brings a commanding, high-walled presence to a shoe silhouette. This choice of last delivers a generous, accommodating fit through the toe box and maximum stability underfoot, making it ideal for pairing with heavy denim, corduroy, or seasonal casual tailoring.
Dark Brown Pampus Leather: Supple Sophistication Pampus is a premium calf leather renowned for its exceptionally soft handle, smooth grain, and immediate comfort.
Rich, Espresso Tones: The Dark Brown finish features deep, tonal variety that delivers a refined city aesthetic while remaining deeply rooted in our heritage.
Adaptive Comfort: Unlike heavier country grains, the supple nature of Pampus leather ensures a drastically reduced break-in period, quickly contouring to the shape of the foot.
Evolving Character: This premium calf skin responds beautifully to regular wear and polishing, building a multi-dimensional, unique patina over time.
Full Leather Lining: The interior is fully lined with soft, breathable leather to maintain a comfortable footwear climate and provide excellent long-term structural integrity.
Technical Build: The Featherweight Foundation Engineered to deliver classic British country ruggedness with modern, all-day walking comfort.
Vibram Vi-Lite Sole: Grounded by a Vibram Vi-Lite sole, this expanded rubber compound replicates the commanding profile of a heavy treaded country sole while providing superior shock absorption and an incredibly lightweight feel.
Goodyear Welted: Fully Goodyear welted in our Northampton factory, providing a completely watertight seal and ensuring the shoe can be fully resoled and refurbished for decades.

"Bought as a birthday gift, the recipient was delighted!"
"Scarpa ben costruita e leggera, al contempo comoda e elegante"
"This is my first Tricker's shoe, I have always admired them and will buy more. I was conscious of the sizing as I normally wear CJ's but these Tricker's are as good if not better than other derby's I have from them. The stiching and leather quality is great and fit is comfortable as you would expect. I would not take any stars away from the quality of the product, but if I may add, it would be really nice if good shoe manufacturers like Tricker's start adding a pair of spare laces with their offering, I always have to order them separately and considering what these shoes cost, that should not be too much of an ask."
