"These are amazing. Straight out the box they looked great quality. I was worried about wearing them and breaking them in. But my worries were unfounded. Day 1 wore them all day and the were so comfortable and this will only get better. The softness and thickness of the leather feel superior to any other boot I own. Very happy"
"This is my 4th Stow, 9th Tricker’s boot, and easily one of the standouts in my collection. The Brown Buffalo leather is outstanding, rich, full of character, and even better in person than in photos. As expected, the quality is top notch. I’m glad I didn’t miss this one. I was able to grab the last pair in my size."
"I purchased the Black Stow Boots, English 6 wide-12 UK, and grateful, that I did. My feet are wide at the toes, and these are not as tight as some of the others that I have ordered from Tricker's, 5 wide. I wish that they came with the Commando Sole. I might have to try the Crockett and Jones Islay, to get the Commando Sole. Other than that I have purchased Boots for my son, and just purchased a pair of the Melissa shoes for my wife. Thanks all, and have a good day. From across the pond, Dan Thomas"
"Vibing on my vintage Sansui R 838 turntable, jVc 5020 Amp, and Klipsch M-600 speaker to “While My Guitar Gently Weeps,” loving these boots and I just got notice that my Japanese denim momonatro’s just arrived. The fit is perfect, especially through the instep, and I can already feel the welt and cork beginning to mold to my foot. Paired with Japanese selvedge, the look turns heads everywhere I go. An iconic piece of craftsmanship, truly deserving of another pair of Tricker’s."
"Awesome!"
"Just arrived this morning. Wore them all day at work and find them to be very comfortable. Love the acorn color and the nicely contrasting dark brown storm welt and sole. Overall construction seems very well built and sturdy. Everything from the clicking to the stitching is spot on. These are true to size for the most part yet a tiny bit more generous in terms of foot room for me. I am a men's 10. 5 to 11 US depending on the maker and last so, the suggested UK size 10 fits well but, may go down to UK 9. 5 for my next pair of Trickers if I decide to go with a more snug fit. Oh and the calf skin leather is very soft and supple. Love it."
"I wouldn’t call the Everton a chukka boot - too many eyelets - but it is a remarkably comfortable ankle boot, the easiest break in of all my Tricker’s. The natural colour Horween is probably a bit of an acquired taste. I don’t like the colour out of the box that much but it has already started to acquire quite a patina after a few weeks and is clearly going to look absolutely stunning after a few years. I am a Tricker’s fan and this offering, once again, does not disappoint. One small thing though: Tricker’s stitching on the Dainite soles is not in a groove (not sure what the technical term would be) and I have the impression that this makes it needlessly vulnerable and reduces the longevity of the soles. Perhaps Tricker’s can comment on this?"
"After having been a C&J Conington fan for years (I have a pair that is still in good shape after 20 years), I took the plunge last december and ordered a pair of Snuff waxy suede Stow boots in your outlet. They turned out to be smaller than the size 8 they should have been. The shoes are shortish and the toebox is too low, so they are ok for the office but not suitable for a day in the field. I hoped they would stretch but they didn't & I couldn't return them as I have worn them too often. Contacting Tricker's I was advised to have the pair stretched by my cobbler. This has had no meaningful result. They are slightly wider but the toebox is still too short/low. However, still being impressed with the craftmanship of the Stow I ordered another pair in the regular interet store: Beechnut Burnished and they fit perfectly, so the snuff coloured pair should, in my humble opinion, not have passed quality inspection (even if it's for the outlet). I have accepted my loss and have now also gotten the summer edition champagne waxy commander. Just like the Beechnut Burnished they are true to size (phew). Only things I can hold against them are 1. The leather seems less stiff and ankle supporting compared to the Snuff coloured pair and 2. the colour is i. m. h. o. significantly lighter than the website suggests. I expect to be able to darken the colour with a good waxing session, perhaps in colour no3 instead of neutral, so I'll stil keep them. To sum it up: the waxy champagne boots are nice and fit well, hopefully providing enough ankle support for outdoor activities."
"The cheyanne leather has a great rustic/antique look. More casual than standard Stows."
This last has been used for decades. It is part of our history and character as England's oldest shoe manufacturer. The size (length fitting) of Tricker’s footwear made on this last (4497s) is true to size, we recommend sticking to your regular UK size. If you are unsure of your UK size, use our size guide to convert your known size to a UK size.
