Kilsby is a classic Tricker’s style, built with a split apron toe. Made on the 4497S last, it fits true to size and offers a more relaxed look than a traditional plain derby. The profile stays clean, it wears in rather than out, and sits comfortably between smart and casual wear.

Features include a lace-up front and a durable Dainite rubber sole for comfort. 

The uppers have been created in Repello Suede, perfect for comfort and style whilst being durable - these hides have been treated with a guard during tanning to provide resistance to staining.

Repello Suede is a fine nap suede made from calfskin. The hide is split and aniline-dyed to create a velvety effect on both sides of the leather. The repello suede used in Tricker’s footwear is a range of high quality, tanned to give a full, generous handle and rich appearance.

Fully treated with ‘Scotch Guard’ in the tannage, to achieve a high degree of resistance to staining in general. The proofing remains effective throughout the life of the footwear.

This last has been used for decades. It is part of our history and character as England's oldest shoe manufacturer.

The size (length fitting) of Tricker’s footwear made on this last (4497s) is true to size, we recommend sticking to your regular than a regular UK. If you are unsure of your UK size, use our size guide to convert your known size to a UK size.

• The Dainite Sole - First designed in 1910, this is a rubber sole with large studs that provide grip - whilst not so traditional, they do provide good all-round grip and durability for most surfaces. Dainite products have been produced since 1894 in Market Harborough, England, near Northampton. The Dainite studded sole is one of the most widely known and used products, with its original design as valid today as it was in 1910. It provides grip and comfort in all conditions while not attracting or storing dirt as there are no cleats or heavy grooves to hold it.
