"Really well made shoes, beautiful leather. These boots are going to take some breaking in but you can tell they will last a lifetime, suitable for rebuilding in about 10 years time! The customer service people were great, they tracked down a pair in a wide fitting in my size that wasn’t available elsewhere."
The Stow is instantly recognisable by its heavy wingtip design, traditional pinked edges, and bold brogue punching. Built on the legendary 4497s last—our definitive country boot foundation—it offers a generous and highly secure "boot fit". This construction yields a spacious toe box, an accommodating fit across the vamp, and excellent support through the waist and ankle, delivering exceptional stability for all-day wear.
Burgundy Museum Leather: Museum calf is a premium full-grain leather celebrated for its unique, multi-dimensional antiqued look.
- Hand-Mottled Burgundy Finish: The leather features a stunning, marbled finish created by hand-sponging dyes onto the hide during the tanning process. This creates a beautiful "cloudy" effect, blending deep oxblood and rich espresso tones with lighter, warm ruby undertones.
-
Lustrous Smooth Grain: Boasting a smooth, tight grain and a subtle natural sheen, Museum leather reacts wonderfully to regular conditioning, developing a richer depth and character over years of service.
-
Full Leather Lining: Lined entirely with soft, breathable natural calf leather to regulate the interior climate and preserve the boot’s structural integrity.
Technical Build: As showcased, every component is selected to provide a balanced, classic country profile with reliable weather resistance.
-
Dainite Rubber Sole: Grounded by a British-made Dainite sole, providing excellent traction and slip resistance on wet pavements without adding excessive bulk. The classic studded pattern ensures a clean aesthetic from the side while preventing dirt and debris from clogging the base.
-
Goodyear Welted Construction: Fully Goodyear welted in our Northampton factory, providing a completely watertight seal and ensuring the boot can be fully resoled and refurbished for decades to come.
-
Finished Accents: Completed with tonal eyelets, a dark brown storm welt, dark brown laces, and a matching fabric pull tab that beautifully complements the deep, multi-tonal burgundy hide.

Chaussures magnifique avec un confort
"Chaussures magnifique avec un confort incroyable au premier porté. Je suis très fière d'avoir fait le choix de la maison Tricker's pour mes premières bottines de cette qualité"
First Pair of Tricker’s
"Finally bit the bullet and bought my first pair , Stow country boot , dark brown Cheyanne . Love at first sight ! The fit is perfect!!!"
Was worried about breaking in
"These are amazing. Straight out the box they looked great quality. I was worried about wearing them and breaking them in. But my worries were unfounded. Day 1 wore them all day and the were so comfortable and this will only get better. The softness and thickness of the leather feel superior to any other boot I own. Very happy"
"Perfect fit and very nice leather"

Stow Brown Buffalo-amazing boot!
"This is my 4th Stow, 9th Tricker’s boot, and easily one of the standouts in my collection. The Brown Buffalo leather is outstanding, rich, full of character, and even better in person than in photos. As expected, the quality is top notch. I’m glad I didn’t miss this one. I was able to grab the last pair in my size."
Awesome Boots!
"I purchased the Black Stow Boots, English 6 wide-12 UK, and grateful, that I did. My feet are wide at the toes, and these are not as tight as some of the others that I have ordered from Tricker's, 5 wide. I wish that they came with the Commando Sole. I might have to try the Crockett and Jones Islay, to get the Commando Sole. Other than that I have purchased Boots for my son, and just purchased a pair of the Melissa shoes for my wife. Thanks all, and have a good day. From across the pond, Dan Thomas"
"Awesome!"
Trickers (Northampton) meets Momontaro (Osaka) in California
"Vibing on my vintage Sansui R 838 turntable, jVc 5020 Amp, and Klipsch M-600 speaker to “While My Guitar Gently Weeps,” loving these boots and I just got notice that my Japanese denim momonatro’s just arrived. The fit is perfect, especially through the instep, and I can already feel the welt and cork beginning to mold to my foot. Paired with Japanese selvedge, the look turns heads everywhere I go. An iconic piece of craftsmanship, truly deserving of another pair of Tricker’s."
