Great Value for money
"I love the boots. They were sent to me on time and the finish is amazing. Looking forward to my next Trickers in the near future."
The Stow is our definitive seven-eyelet country boot, a design that has remained virtually unchanged for over 190 years. Built on the 4497s last, it provides a solid, supportive fit with a high ankle for maximum stability. In this Champagne Waxy Commander finish, the boot trades formal lustre for a matte, industrial aesthetic that is practically indestructible.
Waxy Commander: This unique leather from C.F. Stead in Leeds is not merely water-resistant; it is water-repellent to its core.
Champagne Palette: The pale, sandy tone highlights the "shrunk" grain of the leather, giving each boot a unique, textured personality from the first wear.
Wax-Impregnated Resilience: Because the waxes are driven deep into the leather fibres during tanning, the Stow will not "wet out" even in heavy rain or mud.
Low Maintenance, High Character: This boot is designed to be worn hard; every scuff and mark adds to its story, and its original appearance can be easily restored with a simple application of wax.
Technical Build: Barbour Welt & Vi-Lite To ensure the Stow remains comfortable for all-day expeditions, we have utilised a lightweight technical foundation.
Barbour Welt: Features a specialised Barbour welt, providing a substantial, decorative, and highly effective watertight seal between the upper and the sole unit.
Vibram Vi-Lite Sole: This boot offers the rugged profile of a heavy tread with a surprisingly lightweight feel and superior shock absorption.
Full Leather Lining: The interior is fully lined with premium natural leather, ensuring the boot remains breathable and comfortable throughout its long life.
Cleaning: Use a stiff brush to remove dried mud and dust.
Restoration: If the leather looks dry, apply a specialised wax-based conditioner to restore water-repellency.
Drying: Always allow the shoes to dry naturally at room temperature.
Embrace the Scuffs: Small scratches can often be rubbed out with a warm thumb to redistribute the internal waxes.

"I love the boots. They were sent to me on time and the finish is amazing. Looking forward to my next Trickers in the near future."
"These boots are excellent! Once I got the soles broken in a bit, the fit was spot on and the boots are very comfortable. The leather uppers are very thick, which caught me a bit off guard, but now that I have worn the, the uppers are just want I ordered. My only complaint is I bought the boots in the summer. I can't wait to wear them in the upcoming winter weather"
"Classy yet distinctly country. Ordered true to size but consider a half size up if you plan to wear only thicker socks with these. Very nice looking and comfortable boot. The pics online don't do this leather justice."
"Bought the Stow Tropical Sunrise boots in UK 10. 5 (normally between 10. 5 and 11 UK shoe size) fits perfectly and leather looks amazing, I’ve not seen anything like it , it’s wonderful. Build and material quality is outstanding and a credit to UK shoe industry. Looking forward to wearing them."
"Really well made shoes, beautiful leather. These boots are going to take some breaking in but you can tell they will last a lifetime, suitable for rebuilding in about 10 years time! The customer service people were great, they tracked down a pair in a wide fitting in my size that wasn’t available elsewhere."
"They are built to a very good standard, the stitches on my pair at least are flawless you can really tell they take pride in their craftsmanship. I have only had it for a short time so I cannot comment on how the leather will age but I predict the black leather won't change colour or patina at all I think it will stay deep black forever. The boot is very comfortable I often buy boots like these on a wider lady but they did not offer the wider last on the leather sole, but even so it fits well maybe a tad snug because of my unique wider feet I usually wear triple E's from brands which use the branock sizing. The standard last seems to be plenty of roomy and wide. I went up half a size from my true UK shoe size and got a 9 to account for this and it fits very well I would therefore label this last true to size. My only improvement would be to do the half insole liner differently either omitt it entirely or add a full length sock liner as on one of my boots it started to peel off when I took the boot of for the first time so it will only get worse but it's not a massive issue at all I just sometimes yank my boots of my feet if your more delicate maybe others wont peel of or it will take much longer. Overall my pair is made to a really high standard and right now I cannot see it not lasting a very long time but my journey is just beginning."
"The quality of these products is unbeatable. The Stow fits well and feels substantial. I’ve just got my third pair, in Kudu, they’re beautiful. All handmade in England. Brilliant."
