Alb Buffalo: Resilience from the Swabian Alb Born in the rugged Swabian Alb mountain range in Germany, this Alb Buffalo leather is a testament to natural durability. Sourced from the high-altitude landscapes around Hohenstien, these hides are built to withstand the elements.

• Olivvia® Tanned: Sustainably tanned using an essence from olive leaves, this leather is entirely free from metal traces, resulting in a hide that is as kind to the environment as it is tough.

• Texture & Handle: The skins are meticulously printed and then oiled to give a luxurious, waxy texture. This process enhances the buffalo's naturally coarse and rugged grain, a feature highly prized by leather connoisseurs.

Engineered for the Field Built on the legendary 4497s last—the definitive Tricker's country last—the Daniel offers a classic round toe and a roomy, comfortable fit. To complete this rugged build, the shoe is fitted with a Ridgeway Rubber Sole. This iconic British-made sole features large, raised lugs that provide superior traction and stability on uneven terrain, while maintaining a more refined side profile than a heavy commando sole. Finished with a Goodyear Barbour welt, this shoe is built to endure a lifetime of tramping.

We're introducing a new, high quality European leather for this addition, the Buffalo. Born in the Swabian Alb mountain range in and around Hohenstien, Germany, the Alb Buffalo soon became part of the incredible landscape. Known as a tough and resilient leather, Alb Buffalo features hides that are Olivvia Tanned and fully sustainable as well as being exclusive to Trickers.

Tricker’s fans will appreciate the quality and durability of the Alb Buffalo leather and this hide is particularly special. 100 pairs worth of hide were made exclusively available to Trickers and the skins are printed and then oiled to give a luxurious texture and handle. • The Ridgeway Sole - The Ridgeway sole originated with the idea of a gentleman being able to utilise his most comfortable brogues on the golf course. A hard-wearing rubber sole characterised by protruding lugs and large ridge channels that offer great traction and stability. Ridgeway soles are more lightweight than commando soles but are thicker than Dainite boot soles and have a slightly raised profile. These are an excellent all-purpose sole that performs well in nearly every condition.
