The Henry Country Dealer Boot is Tricker’s take on the classic dealer boot, with wingtip detailing, pinked edges and traditional brogue punching along the seams. Made on our 4444 last, it has the generous proportions associated with our country footwear, with a wide tread and spacious toe box. Many customers find they can drop down half a size for a more secure fit.

This version is presented in Burgundy Burnished Leather, a premium calf hide treated to a rich, hand-finished depth. The burnishing technique creates subtle tonal variations across the leather, drawing out warm ruby and deep oxblood undertones whilst neatly accentuating the brogue detail. Complemented by dark brown elastic inserts, it styles effortlessly with dark selvedge denim, heavy wool trousers or classic corduroy.

Each pair of Henry boots is handmade in our Northampton factory in England by skilled craftspeople using traditional methods, and to the same exacting standards that first established our reputation. Built with a Goodyear storm welt for durability, water resistance and the option to be resoled in years to come, it is finished on a heavy-duty Commando rubber sole, with a deep lugged tread for grip, cushioning and support on wet pavements, uneven ground and more demanding everyday wear.

Shoe Knowledge

The Country Boot

Our original country boot was created back in 1840. It set the standard for craftsmanship, style and reliability to which we aspire to this day.

During World War II, Tricker's country boots were worn by British soldiers who appreciated their durability and ruggedness on the battlefield.

Today, Tricker's country boots remain popular among outdoor enthusiasts, equestrians, and fashion enthusiasts alike. Perfect for tramping the British countryside, trekking the forests of America or walking the streets of Tokyo.

LAST NO: 4444

These are a generous fit and therefore typically larger by half a size. If you normally take a UK size 8, we recommend you try a size 7½.

Calf Leather

Calf leather is finer grained, and lighter in weight than the hide of older cattle. This means that it is also more supple. It is also very durable in comparison to its thickness.
