This version is presented in Coffee Burnished Leather, a premium calf hide carefully finished by hand to create deep, multi-tonal character across the shoe. The burnishing technique enhances the rich chestnut and espresso tones along the apron, seams and toe, giving the leather a sophisticated warmth that pairs effortlessly with tailored trousers, sharp chinos or classic denim.
Each pair of James loafers is handmade in our Northampton factory in England by skilled craftspeople using traditional methods, and to the same exacting standards that first established our reputation. Built with Goodyear welted construction and set on a channelled leather flex sole, the James provides a remarkably smooth underfoot feel, immediate flexibility and superior comfort alongside a beautifully clean, classic underside finish.
